'The Sliding House'
A spectacularly colourful and innovative timber-frame, self-build project in Suffolk, designed by the owners. The line of the 45°pitched roofs is continuous from one end to the other and includes a roof of a glass cover for the pool. The floors and some internal walls are fixed to the foundations, but the side walls and roof are a single rigid component which runs on rails.
