For the first time since the Second World War, the iconic lights at Piccadilly circus have been switched off for an extended period until the Autumn, whilst major refurbishment takes place. The current advertising screens will be replaced by the largest single digital screen in Europe. The building’s roofing, waterproofing and insulationsystems are being upgraded utilising high performance products from SOPREMA with guaranteed long life expectancies. The site is believed to be the most expensive outdoor advertising location in Britain.
Works have begun and SOPREMA Approved Contractor Capital Roofing will be undertaking the high profile project. Watch this space for further updates and roofing works progress.
