SOPRATHERM PL4000
SOPRATHERM PL4000 (previously Celotex PL4000) is a thermal laminate insulation board comprising a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core bonded to 12.5 mm tapered edge plasterboard.
Description
SOPRATHERM PL4000 (previously Celotex PL4000) is a thermal laminate polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board with declared thermal conductivity of the PIR core of 0.022 W/mK bonded to a 12.5mm tapered edge plasterboard. Available in overall thicknesses from 37.5 mm to 77.5 mm, the product is BBA certified for defined applications including internal wall dry lining and pitched roof ceiling applications, as detailed in the relevant certificate.
Reaction to Fire
SOPRATHERM PL4000 achieves a reaction to fire classification of Euroclass B-s1, d0 in accordance with BS EN 13501-1.
In accordance with current Building Regulations requirements relating to combustibility, the product should not be used in the external walls of relevant buildings over 11 metres in height.
The product should be specified and installed in accordance with applicable Building Regulations, statutory guidance and relevant standards.
